Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka shankar is an British and American sitarist. She also plays music. She was the first and first woman to receive a British House of Commons Shield she's had nine Grammy Awards nominations and was the first musician of Indian origin to play live and to act as a host at the award ceremony. Born in London and grew up in New Delhi, she spent the early years of her life moving between London and New Delhi. In New Delhi, she made her debut at just thirteen years old.
