Anita Briem is an Icelandic actress from Iceland . She is famous for her character of Jane Seymour , the young girl who will become queen of the third marriage to King Henry VIII in the series on television The Tudors and for her part in the role of Hannah in the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . Briem was a young actress who started her journey into acting at the age of nine in Iceland's National Theater, is best known for playing Jane Seymour. In her native Iceland she worked on the television, radio, and other programs as a young actress. Briem moved from Iceland to London when she was 16 when he was part of the stage production Lenin's Love. Briem received a place at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art when she was 19-years-old. The next three years she attended the academy, earning an acting degree as well as it was awarded the John Barton Prize for Scenic Fight.
